Community First Choice Option moves the Home and Community Based Services waiver into the Medicaid state plan. These services include hangs-on assistance, safety monitoring, queuing for assistance with activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, and health related functions based on functional needs, not diagnosis or age.
