Through their efforts and advocacy, grassroots organizations in Denver play a central role in passing Colorado’s Anti-Discrimination Act and Employment Nondiscrimination Act. These laws added protections for diverse sexual orientations and transgender status in the workplace, areas of housing, and public accommodations.
