PATRIOT & DREAM Acts

The passage of the PATRIOT Act leaves immigrant communities susceptible to unjust targeting and treatment by law enforcement and government agencies. Chinook Fund continues to  lead the resistance by funding local immigrant and refugee rights movements, and leads anti-oppression training to educate Coloradoans about these movements. With the unwavering support and aid from grassroots organizations across the nation, the DREAM Act (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors) is first introduced in Congress.
